Yesterday and today have been pretty low-key. Yesterday I stayed in and rested up, I did a little laundry and walked to the grocery store for a few necessities. Yesterday was the most laundry I've done in one day since I got here, and it is pretty much the maximum I can do all at once because I pushed the drying space to the limit (see picture). It was pretty nice yesterday though, warm, so it was a good day to dry the clothes.

Yesterday was also the first time I have gone to the grocery store just down the road. When I first got there, I went upstairs first, as I figured that was my best chance at finding a frying pan. On the 2nd floor I found they sell clothes and the 100 yen shop. So, I bought a few things from the 100 yen shop and went back down to the grocery floor. Good thing I had gone up to the 100 yen shop and had broken a 10,000 yen bill and gotten a bag because on the grocery level, they will not break a 10,000 bill and they don't supply bags! Nick called at around 6:45p to say he was leaving work and for me to meet him in Ebina (one station west of Zama) for dinner. Ebina was really nice. The train station spits you out right into a large outdoor mall. We ate at the Outback, which has a larger menu here than in the states.

Today I've just been hanging out at the apartment, resting up. I'm hoping this damn cold will be done by tomorrow, I've had enough of just sitting around the apartment coughing. I put away the laundry from yesterday, and yes Laura, did a bit of ironing. Nick will probably be calling in an hour or so. I'm not sure what the dinner plan will be for tonight, but I could go for some sushi, and I saw a sushi restaurant in Ebina that I wanted to go to. This type of restaurant is called a kaiten-zushi shop and there is a conveyor belt that runs through the restaurant with different plates of sushi with 2 pieces on each plate and you just take what you want. Each plate color represents a price, and after your meal your plates are totaled for your bill. But who know, I bought some stuff to make chicken and broccoli stir-fry, so maybe we'll just stay in and do that. We'll see!

I've heard from several people that they have tried to post on here but haven't had any luck.
The annonymous from yesterday about Nana cooking liver was from your Uncle Scott, who was having trouble posting and didn't realize it had gone through.
Gail and Mike Kay lived in Zama for 1 1/2 years when first married!
Get healthy soon! Love you!
